Morgan Yachts at the Venice Boat Show, style and elegance merge
Morgan Yachts presents at the Venice Boat Show with the Morgan 34, a model with the classic style of Lobster Boats that has a truly timeless charm.
The Morgan 34 bears the signature of American designer Tom Fexas, a fast commuter of yesteryear with impeccable finishes and noble materials that enhance its unmistakable style. While the aesthetics look to the past with generous details in solid teak, laid with running grains that follow the curvature of the deck, chrome and mirror-polished steel, the technology on board is projected into the future.
The central console is a mix of technology and timeless charm. State-of-the-art touch-screen displays for navigation (GPS, depth sounder, onboard home automation) are embedded in a retro-style panel.
The T-Top protects the entire central area and is designed to ensure maximum comfort even for very tall people, as its height exceeds two meters. The side walkways are very wide, and the bulwarks offer maximum protection even in rough seas.
Behind the driver’s seats, there is a kitchen unit equipped with a sink, drawer refrigerator, and possibly a grill/plate for a “gourmet” anchorage. The cockpit features a large “L” shaped sofa with a central table that can be transformed into a total sundeck area at the stern.
Three-quarters of the way along the boat on the starboard side, the bulwark ceases to be a boundary and becomes an extension of the cockpit floor, allowing easy access to the sea and increasing the deck area.
Morgan 34, the interiors
The bow area features a large V-shaped bed that can be converted into a double bed with additional cushions; the natural light coming in from the side windows provides good illumination.
Under the driver’s console, by opening a large hatch located under the forward-facing sofa, we find a bathroom equipped with a shower, sink, and air conditioning.
It is possible to install a large sunshade at the stern using carbon poles to create a protected area from the sun’s rays, while for those who prefer tanning, at the bow, there is a sunbathing area of excellent size, also protected by a handrail that runs along the entire profile, giving an additional touch of unmistakable style.
In a modern nautical market, Morgan Flair Yachts chooses a different path, remaining true to a gentleman style with particular attention to the customer and the finishing details.
