Opening of the Cannes Yachting Festival with over 710 boats.
The Cannes Yachting Festival opens its doors today to welcome visitors from one end of the Croisette to the other.
For six days, in the heart of the French Riviera, in the bay of Cannes, 711 boats ranging from 5 to 50 meters โ monohulls, multihulls, sailing boats, motorboats, with rigid or semi-rigid hulls, new or used โ are showcased by nearly 680 exhibitors, including the largest international shipyards. About 150 units fresh from the shipyard are launched for this special occasion, the Cannes Yachting Festival, and presented in a world premiere. Alongside them, the onshore spaces host equipment suppliers, engine manufacturers, service companies, and more.
“Today, the largest floating boat show in Europe opens its doors! It is a great pride for my teams and myself to design and build a show of this scale with over 710 boats in the two ports. As always, our main goal is to satisfy our customers, serve the boating industry, and offer the best possible event to our visitors. We are committed to providing the best visibility for every unit, every brand, every piece of equipment, and every innovation. I hope our visitors find the boat or equipment of their dreams and that the new products presented by our exhibitors receive the warmest welcome. As every year, the show is organized between the Vieux Port and Port Canto.
- Vieux Port: 358 new motor units from 12 to 45 meters โ monohulls, multihulls, with rigid or semi-rigid hulls, and all equipment suppliers and service companies related to this sector.
- Port Canto: The world of sailing with a new record of 128 new units of monohulls and multihulls, the Power Boat Marina with 180 boats up to 13 meters, the brokerage sector with 45 used boats ranging from 25 to 55 meters, and onshore the toys / nautical toys.
Events and Innovation
And since conviviality and moments of sharing are the order of the day at the show, an “Happy Hour” is offered in all the restaurants of Port Canto, and particularly in the food truck village of Port Canto, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (with an evening opening on Friday until 10:00 PM), all in a musical atmosphere. Additionally, exhibitors of toys/nautical toys will provide water demonstrations during the lunch break, from 12:30 PM to 1:20 PM.
To continue raising awareness among visitors, the Cannes Yachting Festival is once again presenting its “Innovation Route” with around forty exhibitors showcasing eco-friendly solutions aimed at enhancing the boating experience. Visitors can find them through the dedicated path identified in the aisles, in the catalog, and on the website, as well as meet them during their interviews at the “innovation studio.” This evening, the new “Innovation Route Awards” will reward 5 winners.
