Velysum Venice and Nicola De Pellegrini present their “luxury house boat”

Velysum Venezia and Nicola De Pellegrini will present their first model of a luxury houseboat with a project that combines navigation, the Art de Vivre, and well-being.

The new houseboat aims to land in luxury hospitality on water, merging slow tourism with high standards of comfort and finishes typical of high-end yachts and luxury hotels.

The concept

“With this project, we wanted to imagine a new form of hospitality on water: a place that combines freedom, nature, design, and quality of living. Not just a simple boat, but a floating suite capable of offering an authentic, slow, and deeply contemporary experience,” comments architect Nicola De Pellegrini, holistic architect and designer, founder of the Anidride Design studio.

The vessel is designed to offer an immersive experience, in tune with the new scenarios emerging in experiential tourism. Seas, lakes, rivers, marinas, and natural contexts become places to be experienced at a slower pace, authentically and deeply connected to nature and the landscape.

Materials and navigation

Measuring 12 meters in length, the houseboat is constructed with a structure and shell entirely made of aluminum, protected by a special treatment designed to ensure durability over time.

Its propulsion system consists of a 40-horsepower internal combustion engine and two electric motors, designed for navigation at moderate speeds and maximum maneuverability.

Velysum Venezia, a floating suite

A true floating suite where the interiors consist of a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed measuring 2×2 meters, a living area, dining table, wardrobe, and a kitchen to offer a complete, intimate, and luxurious living experience.

A distinctive element of the project is the light well located above the bed, corresponding to the flybridge, which allows for sky observation even at night, enhancing the dialogue between architecture, natural light, and landscape. The large sliding glass wall in a “C” shape, designed to expand the perception of space, creates a fluid continuity with the outdoor area equipped for relaxation.

Luxury details and interior design

Particular attention has been given to the bathroom, designed with dimensions, materials, and finishes rarely found in this category of vessels and closer to the language of large yachts and high hospitality suites. The space features a large shower with a light well, marble finishes, and luxury-level details. Furnishings and coverings express a precise design vision: to transfer a high living standard onto the water through an approach that blends luxury hospitality, interior yacht design, and a culture of detail. The interiors combine precious woods, marble, metal, glass, and high-end finishes, aiming to create a warm, essential, and timeless atmosphere.

Velysum Venezia introduces a new concept of tourism and houseboats, winking at luxury hospitality, resorts, marinas, and destinations oriented towards this type of tourism.
