YACHT DESIGN for the first time at METS TRADE in AMSTERDAM 2025.
“Anything worth having takes time.”

Yacht Design Srl is the artisan-technological partner that translates design into physical reality. The company is essential for luxury shipyards, transforming complex exterior and interior designs into finished components through advanced lamination and composite construction processes.
The company will showcase its dual nature:
Artisanal Excellence: The unique skill in combining traditional lamination and finishing techniques with the use of composite materials.
Industrial Precision: The ability to produce molds and components with geometric precision that meets the rigorous standards required by the most prestigious shipyards.
Participation in METSTRADE is a strategic opportunity for the company to highlight its impressive track record. Yacht Design Srl is already a key supplier for giants of Italian luxury yachting such as Azimut, Sanlorenzo, Cantiere del Pardo, Sacs, and Bluegame.
In Amsterdam, the company will seek to establish new collaborations with shipyards and international yacht design studios. They will present their successful case studies, showcasing how their expertise in fiberglass processing has contributed to the creation of key components for some of the most iconic and innovative yachts in circulation.
Their stand at METSTRADE will not only be a showcase of molds but a concrete demonstration of how Made in Italy precision is an essential element for the success and final quality of modern superyachting.
The company uses a 5-axis CNC milling machine (Computer Numerical Control), which is the standard for large-scale modeling in the industry.
The mill is used in the initial modeling phase of the production process for:
Roughing: Working large masses of polystyrene to create the rough shape of the model or mold.
Finishing: Subsequently, after the application of epoxy paste, the mill works the surface to the nominal (exact and final) geometry of the design.
Software: The programming of the milling paths is managed by advanced software (such as CAM Tebis, Rhino3D, and Aspire), which optimizes the cutting to ensure efficiency and millimeter precision.
Essentially, the 5-axis mill is the tool that allows Yacht Design Srl to take the digital mathematics provided by the client and translate them with high precision into large physical models, ready for the next phase of fiberglass lamination.
