Uncompromising Elegance: Alia Yachts launches GENIE BLU, its new masterpiece
A long and sleek profile, clean lines, expansive glass surfaces, and perfectly balanced proportions. These are the defining features of Alia Yachts’ latest creation, a yacht designed to captivate even the most discerning yacht owners.
Freshly launched in the waters of Antalya, the 45-metre GENIE BLU is a fully custom yacht that once again showcases the Turkish shipyard’s exceptional craftsmanship and its ability to transform bold ideas and highly personalized visions into true masterpieces of contemporary yacht design.

GENIE BLU: connecting with the sea
The result of a close collaboration between Alia Yachts’ in-house design team and Luca Dini Design & Architecture, which developed both the exterior and interior styling, GENIE BLU is built around a clear design philosophy: placing the sea at the heart of the onboard experience. It is an approach that departs from the prevailing trends in the superyacht sector, where maximizing interior volume often takes priority, instead focusing on the connection between guests, living spaces, and the marine environment.
“GENIE BLU turns traditional ideas of yacht design on their head – Gökhan Çelik, President of Alia Yachts – Rather than maximizing interior volume for its own sake, this project is about purity, proportion and the owner’s experience of the sea. Fully custom and refreshingly unconventional, GENIE BLU is exactly the kind of yacht we love to build at Alia. Working closely with the owner throughout this journey has been a privilege, and seeing her enter the water is a very proud moment for everyone involved”.
This philosophy is evident at first glance. The fold-down bulwarks, floor-to-ceiling glazing, and the absence of unnecessary design elements create a seamless dialogue between interior and exterior spaces, while the yacht’s understated elegance gives her a refined and contemporary presence.

The concept reaches its fullest expression in the main salon, where floor-to-ceiling windows dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside. Here, natural light floods the living spaces, enhancing the sophistication of the interiors and ensuring that the surrounding seascape remains the focal point of the onboard experience.
The same design philosophy has been applied to the exterior areas, which have been conceived to encourage a direct and continuous connection with the water. Aft, the cockpit lounge flows through a dramatic sequence of broad steps leading down to the swim platform, creating a natural transition between yacht and sea. This solution not only enhances the perception of space but also transforms the entire aft section into a true waterfront terrace.
The foredeck has likewise been designed as a dedicated relaxation area. A spacious lounge offers uninterrupted views of the horizon, providing the ideal setting for enjoying time underway or at anchor, while a discreet sunbathing area integrated into the superstructure further enhances the yacht’s outdoor living experience.
Behind the elegance of her lines lies a design process focused on essentiality and restraint: “The project is based on subtraction rather than addition – said Luca Dini – We removed barriers, reduced unnecessary volume and opened the yacht wherever possible. The objective was not to maximize gross tonnage, but to maximize the owner’s experience of the sea“.
With the launch of GENIE BLU, Alia Yachts adds another remarkable yacht to its custom-built portfolio and further strengthens its reputation as one of the most innovative shipyards in the bespoke superyacht sector.
