Alpha 45: the dayboat by Technohull debuts at the Cannes Yachting Festival
Among the most anticipated novelties of this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival is undoubtedly the Alpha 45, the brand new sport dayboat from Technohull aimed at redefining the concept of performance in the luxury open boat segment.
Alongside it, at Stand TENDER 115, will also be the flagship of the yard, the Alpha 50, a perfect synthesis of Technohull’s philosophy, where performance, reliability, and refinement merge into an impeccable balance.
Alpha 45: the new icon of performance at sea
With its 13.80 meters in length, the Alpha 45 strategically fits between the Alpha 40 and the flagship Alpha 50, inheriting Technohull’s sporting legacy and reinterpreting it in a new high-performance open boat designed to tackle offshore navigation uncompromisingly, while also ensuring comfort and great versatility for everyday use.
In its most performance-oriented configuration, equipped with four 500-horsepower outboard engines, the Alpha 45 can reach a maximum speed of 85 knots, maintaining perfectly stable and safe behavior even in the most challenging sea conditions.
Among the most distinctive elements of the project is the hard top. Its aerodynamic profile, completed by a large panoramic glass windshield and integrated side deflectors in the console, optimizes airflow around the helm station, reducing turbulence during high-speed navigation.
The deep V Dynastream hull, characterized by ventilated steps and a wave-piercing bow, has been developed to ensure brilliant acceleration, steering precision, and excellent sea-keeping even in the most challenging offshore navigation. The helm reflects the same design philosophy: two rows of seats with three places each position the driver centrally, ensuring complete visibility and immediate access to all controls.
The deck layout has also been designed with flexibility in mind. The spacious U-shaped bow sunbathing area is complemented by a forward-facing seat integrated into the central console, while the walkaround side deck allows for free movement along the entire boat. At the stern, various configurations are available, with sunbathing areas of different sizes alongside seats facing forward or an elegant L-shaped sofa that facilitates lateral access to the swim platform.
The interior spaces impress with their livability and finishes. A dramatic “gullwing” side door, electrically operated, leads to the cabin below deck, designed to comfortably accommodate two people. Here, there is a double bed, a separate full-height bathroom with a shower, and particularly generous internal height, features that make the Alpha 45 ideal for multi-day cruises.
The model displayed at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 will feature a refined white livery, equipped with three Mercury 400R outboards and characterized by a decidedly sporty setup, with a large sunbathing area at the stern and a single row of three seats at the helm.

Alpha 50: the flagship that embodies the yard’s DNA
Generous volumes and well-balanced proportions define the aesthetic impact of the Alpha 50, the flagship of Technohull designed to offer the owner and their guests the best possible onboard experience.
The design impresses from the first glance with a sleek and aerodynamic profile, characterized by clean and taut surfaces, enhanced by the unmistakable curved carbon fiber hard top with integrated windshield. The wide beam allows for maximum utilization of the external spaces, organized around a series of areas dedicated to relaxation and conviviality. The large central island sunbathing area, the generous aft cockpit, and the spacious bow sunbathing area create distinct yet perfectly integrated environments, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the boat in total freedom, both while navigating and at anchor.
The proven Dynastream hull from Technohull, combined with the wave-piercing bow with a semi-vertical profile and the two ventilated steps, ensures maximum stability and steering precision even in the most difficult situations.
On the propulsion front, the Alpha 50 is available in various outboard or inboard configurations, with performance that can easily reach 87 knots of maximum speed in the most performance-oriented setup.
The presence of a comfortable double cabin equipped with a separate bathroom and shower, along with the option to add a second cabin for guests, significantly extends the versatility of the vessel, making it a good solution for longer stays.
