Cannes Yachting Festival, five world premieres in sailing highlighted by the show

In just over a week, the Cannes Yachting Festival will kick off, the unmissable international event for recreational boating, an event that has represented the meeting of innovation, elegance, and glamour for almost half a century. Since 2019, the Port Canto area has hosted sailing boats over 10 meters. For this edition, there will be 120 ladies of the wind present among monohulls and multihulls.

With over 400 meters of dock dedicated to monohulls and more than 450 meters to multihulls, the Sailing Area brings together the largest fleet in the world of new large sailing boats presented in the water.

Sailing is a fundamental component of the Cannes Yachting Festival. With 120 monohulls and multihulls gathered at Port Canto, the Sailing Area is a source of pure wonder for our visitors and offers a spectacular view of the dynamism and diversity of the sector. Cannes Yachting Festival, the five highlighted world premieres of monohulls

Among the many new features announced, the Cannes Yachting Festival highlights five monohulls made by shipyards from around the world, from Finland to France, presented as world premieres:

Amel 50.2

The AMEL 50.2 renews the aesthetic codes of the shipyard while preserving its historic expertise in long-range cruising. Designed by Berret-Racoupeau, it stands out for its reversed bow, modernized hull, and deep, protected central cockpit. The expanded living spaces and increased solar surface make it a yacht designed for traveling far, in total comfort and autonomy.

CNB 62

The CNB 62 embodies a new vision of offshore cruising designed to be operated even by a reduced crew. Designed by Philippe Briand, it combines elegance, comfort, and ease of handling. The large, light-filled salon, the carbon arch that frees the cockpit, and the longitudinal tender garage reflect a design that is both refined and functional.

Grand Soleil 80 LC

The new flagship of the Plus range, the Grand Soleil 80 Long Cruise is designed for sailors dreaming of long voyages without sacrificing performance. The carbon rig, double rudder blades, and telescopic keel offer great versatility at sea, while the hybrid Torqeedo platform supports long distances. Signed by Cantiere del Pardo, Matteo Polli, and Nauta Design, it combines technology, comfort, and customization with bright interiors and a clear separation between the guest and crew areas.

Y7-YYachts

Redesigned by judel/vrolijk & co., the new Y7 continues the YYachts philosophy of performance, simplicity, and discreet luxury. The new symmetrical/asymmetrical entrance facilitates movement in the cockpit, while the U-shaped sofa and protected area increase onboard comfort. The relocation of the engine room to a dedicated technical space improves maintenance and clearly separates the technical area from the living area.

Swan 80 -301

The monohull Swan 80-301 opens a new chapter for Nautor Swan, combining the spirit of the great cruiser-racer with a more agile sailing setup. Designed by Germán Frers (exteriors by Lucio Micheletti and interiors by Misa Poggi), it combines clean lines and performance with large volumes and configuration flexibility. The modular cockpit and double steering facilitate the transition from sailing to relaxation.
