Monaco Yacht Show 2025: excellence and sustainability redefine the yachting experience.
The 2025 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show offered a unique immersive experience, showcasing the entire superyacht ecosystem: from the giants of the sea to tenders, from sustainable innovations to thematic exhibition areas, along with strategic discussions that brought together industry leaders and their clients. The event once again confirmed its position as an essential platform for discovering trends and future prospects in the luxury yachting sector.
The visitor experience at the heart of the show
The 2025 edition placed the visitor experience at the center of the event. On Wednesday, the exclusive opening day reserved for invited guests allowed participants to explore the exhibition areas, while the Dockside Area remained accessible only to private clients. This provided them with a privileged path along the docks of Port Hercule to discover superyachts and tenders in all their splendor. During the visit, participants met shipyards, designers, naval architects, brokers, and specialized suppliers, immersing themselves in the latest innovations, technologies, and sustainable solutions that are transforming the future of the industry.
Blue Wake™ – A new era for sustainable yachting
This year’s show marked a significant milestone with the launch of Blue Wake, a program dedicated to innovation and sustainability. Visitors were able to discover a curated selection of 59 exhibitors, chosen in collaboration with the Water Revolution Foundation for their eco-responsible solutions: from hydrogen propulsion systems to alternative fuels, recyclable materials, and circular construction practices.
The highlight was the presentation of the Blue Wake Awards during the gala evening. The awards recognized outstanding initiatives in five categories:
- TYKUN for hydrogen propulsion.
- Tai Ping for biodegradable carpets.
- Deasyl for its low-carbon fuel.
- Sanlorenzo for its fuel cell-powered yacht.
- SilverYachts for its recyclable aluminum catamaran.
Monaco Yacht Summit: a strategic forum
The Monaco Yacht Summit brought together experts and private clients to address key themes: technological innovation, environmental transition, and investment strategies. The program included 8 round tables, exclusive sessions on how to become owners, and 20 “expert talks.” The day concluded with a screening of Ocean by David Attenborough, with the presence of director Toby Nowlan.
Exceptional superyachts and thematic spaces
The Dockside Area hosted 120 superyachts, including 50 new models for 2025. With an estimated value of 4.3 billion euros, the fleet demonstrated the exclusive character of the MYS as a stage for world premieres.
The other thematic areas complemented the offering:
- Parvis Piscine and Upper Deck Lounge: dedicated to luxury interior design and craftsmanship excellence.
- Quai Albert Ier and Darse Sud: focusing on refit shipyards, marinas, and smart onboard technologies.
- Yacht Design & Innovation Hub: where 16 designers presented cutting-edge concepts through immersive 3D experiences.
- Adventure Area: showcased 57 tenders, a selection of innovative “water toys,” and 23 luxury vehicles.
The art of yachting through the lens of Guillaume Plisson
The MYS 2025 also celebrated emotion through the photographic exhibition “Tribute to Yachting” by Guillaume Plisson. With 143 photographs, the exhibition revealed the intimate side of superyachts: the artisanal precision in the workshops and the deep bond between man and the sea.
The numbers of success
With 29,956 visitors, the 34th edition confirmed the Monaco Yacht Show as a global benchmark. Exhibitors particularly praised the high quality of private visitors, many of whom were seriously considering acquisitions or new construction projects.
“The Monaco Yacht Show 2025 has once again confirmed its unique role as an essential annual event for large yachting… Exhibitors praised the exceptional quality of the private clientele, a testament to the appeal and relevance of the show on a global scale.” — Gaëlle Tallarida, General Director of the Monaco Yacht Show.
