Jeanneau returns to the essentials with the new EX range
Eliminating the superfluous to leave space only for what is truly needed on board. This is the idea behind EX, the brand new range unveiled for the first time worldwide by Jeanneau.
The acronym stands for Elements and Crossplatform and encapsulates the shipyard’s desire to offer an essential vessel, designed to experience the sea in all its purity, without frills or complications, accessible to everyone, from the experienced sailor to anyone wanting to set sail for the pure pleasure of enjoying contact with the sea, without the limits and worries of a difficult-to-handle vessel or one solely focused on performance.
Jeanneau EX 34: the flagship of the range
The Jeanneau EX 34 is the first model of the new lineup, offered in two versions – Hardtop and Cabin – which we had the pleasure of visiting during the recent Cannes Yachting Festival.
Born from the collaboration between the shipyard’s design department and Centkowski & Denert Design, both configurations share the same basic architecture, distributed over five areas: aft platforms, aft cockpit, central salon, command station, and bow lounge.
The beating heart of the vessel is the convertible salon with integrated kitchen: an open space but appropriately sheltered by the roof, perfect for cooking, sharing a meal, or simply enjoying a moment of relaxation.
Descending below deck, the welcome continues with two cabins and a separate bathroom, designed to offer true comfort even at night.
Jeanneau EX 34 Hardtop
The EX 34 Hardtop is the quintessence of freedom signed by EX: a masterpiece of design aimed at breaking down every barrier between those on board, the sea, and the horizon.
The aft cockpit, spectacular and practically enormous, is an explicit invitation to let the sun kiss you and touch the water with a simple gesture. And if the weather conditions should worsen, the very practical soft closure with quick assembly offers immediate shelter, preserving all the magic of an authentically open-air experience.
Jeanneau EX 34 Cabin
On board the EX 34 Cabin, the same extraordinary structure is enclosed in a true protected oasis that maintains a deep connection with the sea.
The rigid helm, entirely glazed and enhanced by an impressive sliding opening, guarantees total protection, breathtaking visibility, and overwhelming brightness.
With the possibility of integrating air conditioning or heating, the pleasure of navigation transcends every seasonal boundary, while the driving station elegantly transforms into a stylish lounge overlooking the waves.
