Patrone 45′ Convertible: the evolution of the Ligurian gozzo
World-premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, the brand-new Patrone 45′ Convertible marks an important step forward in the evolutionary path undertaken by the Moreno family in 2022 with the Patrone 100 and continued in 2024 with the Patrone 45′ Open.
With an overall length of 14 meters, the new model transforms the traditional Ligurian gozzo into a functional and advanced cruising yacht, designed to experience the Mediterranean with greater freedom, comfort, and more time spent at sea.

The exteriors of the Patrone 45′ Convertible
The project is all about customization. The first unit was finished in a distinctive MOSTO red, clearly inspired by the Ligurian vineyards overlooking the sea that the owner loves. Warm yet bold, the color enhances the hull’s lines while emphasizing the shipyard’s deep connection to its home territory.
The cockpit is available in two configurations: with a central convertible bench that transforms into a second sun pad—the solution chosen for the first unit—or with perimeter seating and an open central area. The latter configuration offers greater freedom of movement and makes the cockpit particularly versatile, including for fishing. The deck is finished in eco-teak, with natural teak also available as an option, while the forward sun pad is upholstered in Italvipla fabric.

Propulsion comes from Volvo Penta IPS 600 with joystick, a solution that makes maneuvering and boat handling easier, particularly in tight spaces and in port. The helm station integrates Garmin instrumentation with dual displays, electronic throttles, Quick counters, and an electrically adjustable helm seat. Equipment also includes a digital anchor system and autopilot.
The Patrone 45′ Convertible is also equipped with a Quick Gyro X13 220 V gyroscopic stabilizer, designed to reduce roll both underway and at anchor. Cruising comfort is further enhanced by a watermaker, a 14 kW Paguro generator, and air conditioning. Even the five-step Besenzoni SP608 electro-hydraulic passerelle has been integrated without compromising the boat’s clean lines: when not in use, it remains completely concealed.

The interiors
Designed by Tommaso Spadolini, the interior focuses on bright, elegant, and above all flexible spaces, where the traditional character of the gozzo is reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Stripped and bleached oak enhances the brightness of the interiors, while the ability to customize fabrics, colors, finishes, and layouts allows each owner to create a truly personal environment. Rubelli fabrics were selected for the interior upholstery and exterior sofa.
The salon is the heart of life on board, centered around a large dinette and a 360-degree seating area. Open and convivial, the space adapts to different moments of the day: meals, conversation, and relaxation, while the dinette can be converted into an additional berth when needed. The result is accommodation for 4+2, with two cabins plus two additional berths created by converting the dinette. The first unit features an owner’s cabin with a double bed and a VIP cabin with twin beds that can be joined upon request.

The most interesting new feature of the layout is the below-deck galley, a solution that completely frees up the salon. Large hull windows flood the space with natural light, while the opening toward the upper deck allows those preparing meals to stay connected with the sea.
The galley is equipped for extended cruising, with an induction cooktop, oven, 45-cm Miele dishwasher, and a large-capacity refrigerator. Here too, the signature windows first introduced on the Patrone 100 make their return: large openings in the hull that bring natural light below deck and keep the sea constantly in view.
